Officers responded to a residence in the 100 block of Fair Avenue at 5:13 p.m. The officer spoke to the owner and the issue was taken care of. Thursday an officer heard a barking dog and stopped to speak to the owner, finding the dog was in distress due to its chain becoming wrapped around its leg. While on patrol in the 500 block of North Ellsworth Avenue at 9:13 p.m. Officers spoke to utility workers who advised they were working on repairing the line.

Officers responded to the 2300 block of East State Street at 11:12 p.m. Both people were advised to leave the property and not return. Officers spoke with both people and advised them the business doesn’t want anyone on their property looking through items that are dropped off for donation or going through their dumpster. Thursday officers located a man and woman looking at items behind a business. While on patrol in the 2000 block of East State Street at 11:17 p.m. Officers checked the area but were unable to locate the knife. Friday for a report of a knife in the roadway. Officers responded to the intersection of East State Street at 12:44 a.m. Officers stood by on scene while Perry Township officers investigated, with the male half whose name was not listed ultimately arrested for domestic violence. Friday to assist the Perry Township Police Department with a domestic dispute report. Officers responded to a residence in the 1000 block of Prospect Street at 2:52 a.m.
